# Source and reuse notices

Neroli's Lab, Copyright The Neroli's Lab Authors. Species and nature snapshots are normalized/modified representations of Apache-2.0 upstream data at commit 647ddf8167fb8ae2295769ea70914af125f16a79. Formulas were independently implemented from inspected code. Full license and NOTICE are in `notices/NEROLI-LICENSE` and `notices/NEROLI-NOTICE`. New normalization adds evidence wrappers, IDs, units, transformation notes and uncertainty flags. Mew placeholders remain flagged.

RaenonX Pokémon Sleep Wiki is the source of the seven observed probability rows, displayed rater pilot, help descriptions and browser resource evidence: https://pks.raenonx.cc/en/info/production and https://pks.raenonx.cc/en/rating . Its production page credits @jc, @goobliss and @harold_grant in Mathcord for the model/information and @calpistori for testing/verification. Its published credit request is recorded in the research log. No proprietary JavaScript implementation, private repository, API body or account information is included. Public observation is not a grant to copy its engine.

The desmondtong automation repository was reviewed without code reuse; no verified license was found. Field Notes (MIT, Copyright 2026 David Z. Chen) was used as a schema/documentation reference, with an independently written importer and no source copied. No game art or UI assets are bundled.

## Local account download helpers added 2026-10-03

This supersedes the earlier no-code-reuse statement for Field Notes:
`scripts/sleep_protocol.py` adapts the pure encryption, signing, and response
decoding functions from David Z. Chen's MIT-licensed
`scripts/fetch_api_roster.py` and `scripts/decode_api_capture.py` in
https://github.com/davidzlchen/pokemon-sleep-field-notes . The full license is
preserved in `notices/FIELD-NOTES-LICENSE`. Database extraction, response-session
decryption, and history pagination were investigated separately against the
fingerprinted client. No private account data, credentials, or client binaries
are included in source.

## Game artwork added 2026-10-03

The local UI now bundles cached third-party artwork from the public RaenonX rater's image resources at https://cdn.raenonx.cc/ . This supersedes the earlier statement that no game art was bundled. Exact observed URLs, content hashes and byte sizes are in `web/art-manifest.json`; access observations and scope are recorded in `reports/model-and-ui-validation.md`. Pokémon imagery remains copyright its respective owners, including Nintendo, Creatures and GAME FREAK; RaenonX is credited as the source. No general redistribution license was established, and the Neroli Apache-2.0 license does not cover these assets. No RaenonX logo or site branding was copied. Local, unofficial use only; nothing was published.

## Strength and encounter models added 2026-10-03

`data/strength-data.json` is a normalized export of Neroli's Apache-2.0 berry, ingredient, subskill, skill-level and species pity data at the same pinned commit. The existing Neroli license/NOTICE applies; species-specific skill identities are preserved. Exported activations are data, and production/valuation equations are independently implemented.

Catch probability uses RaenonX's published subskill probability research (https://pks.raenonx.cc/en/docs/view/mechanics/subskill-probability), credited to @powderrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and @noko17, and ingredient-combination research (https://hackmd.io/@raenonx-pokemon-sleep/rJj6yeIlWe), credited to @calpisrtori. The captured-calculator alternative adopts observed rarity constants only. Source discrepancies, independence assumptions and support limits are recorded in reports/expanded-rating-model.md. No proprietary implementation was copied.

## Account dashboard reference data added 2026-10-03

`data/account-reference.json` and `data/inventory-reference.json` are public
reference snapshots from David Z. Chen's Field Notes repository, retrieved
2026-10-03 from `scripts/api-reference.json` and
`pokemon-sleep/inventory-reference.json`. The repository MIT notice is retained
in `notices/FIELD-NOTES-LICENSE`; game names and master data retain their
respective owners' rights. Reference provenance reports master version 134,
client v3.8.2 and labels retrieved on 2026-10-02. No personal roster or inventory
from that repository was downloaded or used.

`src/account.ts` implements the local dashboard adapter with field meanings
informed by Field Notes' `map_api_roster.py` and `export-sleep-inventory.py`:
internal species mapping, zero-based stored skill level, trait unlock levels,
EXP thresholds, inventory labels and research-rank thresholds. Ambiguous catalog
forms stay unresolved. All UI account data is read from the owner's private
export at runtime; it is not included in these public reference snapshots.

## Account-connected planning added 2026-10-03

`data/planner-reference.json` normalizes Apache-2.0 Neroli recipe ingredients,
recipe strength, recipe-level multipliers, and ordinary-island berries/rank
thresholds at pinned commit 647ddf8167fb8ae2295769ea70914af125f16a79. The existing
Neroli license and NOTICE apply. Planner algorithms and UI are independently
written. Public RaenonX tools were researched for feature scope, with no reuse
of proprietary implementation. Sources, model boundaries, and future research
are documented in `docs/planner.md`.

The coverage audit additionally uses Neroli's pinned Expert event definitions,
locked mythical ingredient-slot handling, and cooking-capacity rounding as
formula references. `src/planner-rules.ts` is an independent implementation.
Official Pokémon Sleep announcements cited in `docs/planner.md` establish
release dates, Special Pokémon restrictions and Nap Island growth mechanics.

## Experimental dynamic simulator added 2026-10-03

`vendor/neroli/simulator.mjs` now **adapts implementation code** from Neroli's
Apache-2.0 simulator at the pinned commit above. This supersedes the independent
implementation statement for this new engine only. License and NOTICE remain
in `notices/NEROLI-LICENSE` and `notices/NEROLI-NOTICE`. The bundle retains source
copyright comments; its source map embeds the upstream source needed to inspect
it. `vendor/neroli/manifest.json` records provenance and source hashes.

Local modifications are applied by `scripts/simulation/patches.mjs`: collection
scheduling, specialty-dependent banking, boundary/timer corrections, one-minute
ticks and continuous ingredient draws. `src/simulation/random.ts` replaces the
fixed quantized random pool with reproducible replica-specific streams. Node's
UUID implementation replaces the upstream UUID package. The application adapter,
uncertainty gauges, observation records and bounded team search are local code.
No account records, credentials or game-client binaries are in the bundle.

`data/candy-shard-costs.json` transcribes numerical normal-candy prices from the
Pokémon Sleep community verification wiki, credited through its source URL.
These are reference facts, not copied software or client-extracted master data.

Finite ingredient-bag modeling references the community observations at
https://wikiwiki.jp/poke_sleep/食材#gd34c942 and
https://wikiwiki.jp/poke_sleep/メインスキル/食材ゲット . The local model implements
capacity-limited transfer with retained helper overflow; collection ordering is
an explicit assumption. Recipe EXP thresholds in `data/recipe-experience.json`
are factual values from https://wikiwiki.jp/poke_sleep/料理#recipe_level, with
source and retrieval date embedded. These references are not claims of official
certification or measured forecast accuracy.

`data/evolution-requirements.json` records evolution requirement facts checked
against Serebii's Pokémon Sleep species pages. Each rule links its source; no page
prose or images are reproduced. This partial reference is distinct from the
Apache-2.0 evolution graph and remains community-supported evidence.

Mankey base carry correction: client 3.8.2/master 134 pickup data and
https://www.serebii.net/pokemonsleep/pokemon/mankey.shtml agree on 12. The pinned
Neroli value of 7 is explicitly overridden in the simulation build entry and the
catalog fact, with provenance retained. No source prose or images are copied.

Holiday Pikachu base carry correction: client 3.8.2/master 134 and
https://wiki.pokesleep.com/en/pokemon/pikachu-holiday agree on 20. The pinned
upstream value of 16 is overridden explicitly in the build and catalog. The
full carry audit records field-level agreement and its form-mapping limits.

Combusken frequency correction: Serebii, https://wiki.pokesleep.com/en/pokemon/combusken
and https://wikiwiki.jp/poke_sleep/ワカシャモ agree on a 3,400-second base interval.
The pinned upstream 3,300 is explicitly overridden with provenance and a build
assertion. Frequency-audit output stores factual values, URLs and page hashes.

The local Neroli adapter includes explicit rotation transition hooks to rebind
team bonuses and clear skill banks while retaining MemberState objects. These
hooks are currently tested infrastructure; production rotation scheduling is not
yet enabled. Patch source and bundled-source hashes are recorded in the manifest.

Energy correction v19: community energy mechanics at
https://wikiwiki.jp/poke_sleep/げんき support strict >40/>60/>80 help-speed
boundaries and individual decay timing restarted by recovery. Static and dynamic
models now use those boundaries; dynamic helper clocks are individual. Fractional
behavior near zero remains qualified rather than asserted verified.
